During the last 10 years I have been placing implants free-handed. However I would always shy away from those cases where I wasn’t sure I had enough space from those critical anatomical structures. …you know the ones. Recently we upgraded our OPG to 3D Xray and all of a sudden the blindfold was lifted from my eyes and I could see everything.  But I didn’t know how to bring it all together to start doing guided surgery, which guide do I use [Cerec guide?, Optiguide?, Classic guide?] , how, what, why….the questions compounded and paralysis set in.

With Hugh’s mentoring and assistance I was able to plan several CEREC Guide and OPTIGUIDE cases which culminated in a ground breaking and productive day.

With Hugh guiding me all the way I placed 13 Implants on 4 patients in one day- he saved me from so many ‘rookie’ guided surgery mistakes on that day, at least 8 times [ I was counting]. The experience was momentous; you couldn’t put a true value to how he has enhanced my implant career from here on in. What used to take me one and a quarter hours to do, can be done safely in 15 minutes thanks to what I have learnt from Hugh.

No matter how much implant experience you have [or don’t have], I can guarantee that after being mentored by Dr Hugh Fleming you will have a rocket under your guided implant surgery career!
